What I have to do

Am currently juggling writing 3 research papers. Basically it takes a tremendous amount of self-discipline and motivation (which increases exponentially before the deadline). I am setting my own deadlines this semester because,

(i) I want a decent chinese new year
(ii) I want to be able to hand in satisfactory works (by my own standards, usually profs beg to differ)
(iii) I need to be disciplined and motivated anyway.

And I think I might work better if I was here at the New York Public Library. Why doesn't singapore make their libraries look like this?

Underwhelmed

The more I give the more underwhelmed I get. And I keep thinking to myself, is this what I want. Somehow I always find myself being bound by doing what is right, and what should be done. Finish the work, fulfil that obligation, keep that promise. And the inner person just needs to rebel. Screw everything I wanna do what I want. yea. Right the very next minute I silently like the lemming that I am revert back to mundane normalcy. On a sidenote I am giving up ALL my vices because of another duty, this time national, in the form of IPPT.
